Hyderabad: A hate speech by MIM Part chief Asauddin Owaisi’s brother Akbaruddin Owaisi has recently hit the headlines. The speech, as given below was delivered on December 24 in Adilabad, AP.
“We are 25 crore(muslims), You are 100 crore (Hindus), Remove police and give us 15 minutes time, we will finish off everything”
“We will kill more hindus than those who were killed in last 1000 years”
“Many “Modi”s come and go. they can’t do anything. If Modi can dare to, let him come Hyderabad and confront us”
- Akbaruddin Owaisi.
Akbaruddin is an MLA from the party All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM). He represents Chandrayan Gutta constituency.
A person on finding the video on a video sharing website was deeply troubled by how this politician openly gives hate speeches to create communal divides. A petition was filed in the Hyderabad court to look into the matter and call for action.
Akbaruddin mentions that if all police (and law enforcers) be removed for even fifteen minutes, the 25 crores Muslims shall overpower the 100 crore Hindus easily. The hatred emanates apparently from Modi’s victory in the recent Gujarat Elections.
What is shocking in the video is that he shamelessly goes on about senseless Hindu – Muslim topics and abuses the other religion; and this in the 21st century, after more than half a century of Independence. It is shameful to see such politicians being allowed to represent people. Such men can only breed hatred and spread communal divide.
Though a tried and tested formula, divide and rule was first started by the British and it is shocking to see modern day politicians still using it as a vote bank politics.
Question – Can any politician who openly gives such hate speech and try to provoke violence between religious groups be allowed to remain a political representative?
The petitioner who had called to notice the video has urged more people to file petitions against such cases. The Hyderabad court will be hearing and deciding upon the plea today. Court may order police to file an FIR against the MIM MLA for giving a hate speech inciting violence and promoting communal divide.
BJP President Kishan Reddy has said that the government could ask Election Commission of India to de-recognize MIM (Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen) and have Akbaruddin Owaisi’s membership annulled.
Communal Owaisi does not belong in aspirational India.

This was expected. Earlier such people (they are only a few) gave hate speeches in private but now they have no fear (the milch cow, vote bank representative) and are making hate speeches in public The UPA fears that if they act against such persons they may lose votes. How come all the non-secular (whatever that means) persons, organizations, Politrickians, who were so belligerent in the case of Varun Gandhi’s speech, cowering like whipped dogs without even letting out a small YIP in this case of Owaisi?
