Anurag is jealous of Dibakar: Kalki

Kalki, the theatre girl, an Indian model of French descent, debuted in Bollywood with the Anurag kashyap’s critically acclaimed Hindi film, remake of Devdas, Dev-d. She also worked as a screen writer and was nominated for the Best supporting Actress in Film fare awards.

The first movie itself made Kalki a hit! Soon she married Anurag Kashyap and they are pretty happy together!

They never revealed anything personal about their personal life in media, but this time Kalki has revealed something about her hubby.

At the world premiere of her film at the ongoing International Indian Film Indian Academy awards in Singapore, she discussed something exclusive with Media, she has revealed that her husband is jealous of director Dibakar Banerjee, for making such a gracious movie like Shanghai.

She was accompanied with actor Abhay deol and Dibakar Banerjee. Her husband was missing. When journalist asked the reason she revealed “He (kashyap) doesn’t like to attend award functions. Also he is filming in Mumbai, that’s why he couldn’t come. But he supports me for the film.“

Talking about her choosing only distinctive roles, Kalki said “I really don’t know what is conventional or unconventional roles. I only do what I believe in and I know how to do for sure,” she said.

Well Shanghai is a hit!! Kalki, you have done a great job!
