Centre for Assessment, Evaluation and Research to be set up by CBSE and Pearson Education

A Centre for Assessment, Evaluation and Research will be sut up by CBSE and Pearson Education aiming to reform learning. It will be a not for profit centre of excellence.

CBSE schools will benefit by it apparently through grass root research and implementation of its findings. In the beginning the main focus will be on evaluating impact of current CBSE innovations like CCE and Life Skills Curriculum. International practices will also be observed and referred to in the reccommendations. Teaching practices and assessments will be affected positively by this effort. Teachers may also have extensive program of professional development.

The partnership between Central Board of Secondary Education and Pearson Education will be projected on developing world class reserach and innovation and enhancing research capabilities, emulate global school bases assessment and more.
