“Oh! C’mon! Please buddy!”
“Yaar! I’ve got to pick up my bike, coz I know these people won’t remain stationary at Shopprix”
“I am hungry mate! Please!”, “Or else, I would have to take the other auto home”
“K.K.”
For those, who had some problem in familarising with the above conversation, well, you would have to visit the NCR region, specifically Anand Vihar, Ghaziabad. Now, for those who are not conversant with the facts: local means of transportation are virtually dead here apart from the private autos that ply on these routes. So, since I live in Indirapuram and my friend in Vaishali, we would have to take different autos, that is, if we had decided to report to our respective homes. Actually, there was no need really, to write all of this; this is not a great start; but I would try to be a good narrator!! So, where was I? Yes…
2:
Mc Donalds!!!, Shopprix
My friend left me to feast while he dealt with the others. (So, what ? Was I expected to wait for him?
)
I ordered and.., well was just about to start when a kid came and stood parallel to me….
“Yes?”
“We were also rich!”
“Excuse me?”
“Oh! I’m sorry!”
He took out a piece of paper from the back of his hand and plastered it on my table.
Man! I am hungry!!!
Jammu something something Fund……
I tried to read, but my mind was pre-occupied (with my food of course!!!
)
I finally looked at him again…
“We were also rich, but….”
“So?”
Call me rude, if you wish to, but a hungry me is quite a rascal….!
“If you could…?”
To ask for favours, is perhaps the second most difficult thing to do in the world, after asking for forgiveness….
(There would be exceptions to this I know, but well I referred to genuine need and genuine wish!)
Well, again, I don’t know why; but I took out a 100 buck note and passed it to the kid.
This gesture of mine, brought a smile on his face and well, perhaps this was all that mattered.
The kid went out, followed by his brother perhaps, he too had a similar paper with him.
I was left with a bit of satisfaction, after all I had done some charity!!!
The burgers resting in front of me, had now lost their sheen! But, well, after their firm and consistent pleads, I had to give in!!!
3:
I came out and chose gate 1 to exit. Well, I had moved just 1 step, when I noticed the kid again….. I was filled with that emotion again!!! I was smiling again!
Well, it took me a moment to realise the surroundings, it was Pizza Hut’s entrance.
And then, he looked at me, there was an eye contact, and he laughed…., both of them were laughing now…..
I wasn’t; I was feeling robbed!!!

You shouldn’t. There perception is beyond our limited inception of right or wrong.

Or is it our perception?
When I had decided on this one, I had planned on an alternate ending; the one in which the protagonist chooses an alternate exit and perceives them to be laughing on their own joke….
All of it depends on perception only. I would have loved to think that I was not the stock of their joke, I would have preferred that.

Even if they were laughing at you, or even me in that case, I would not feel angered or repelled. It’s not the result that matters, instead the act on thoughts.
And by their perception, I meant their understanding of the world. Far worse things might have happened to or witness by them. Tricking someone in to giving you a 100 rupees note would be at the tip of this colossal iceberg.

True.
Had they been needy,it would really not mattered to me if they fooled me into getting that note. But well, nowadays, we’ve got kids from well-to-do families taking up conning for just their petty needs!
But, well I can’t ever know, can I?

You can always know the difference between the kids of well-to-do families and street kids.
Anyways, I hearing the 1st of it.

once a man was robbed by a goon in disguise of a beggar. the man asked him for one thing: “dont tell anyone how you robbed me. coz then people will stop beleiving in goodness in the world”

all we see in the world is negativeness; negativeness gets publicised, positivity doesn’t…..

it feels very bad when something like this happens. next time when a genuine person in need approaches you, you feel hesitant in helping.
