Christopher Nolan has confirmed that the script for Batman 3 is in the works.

The filmmaker has put the much-awaited sequel to ‘The Dark Knight’ on standby while he focuses on his latest project, ‘Inception,’ but he revealed work has been initiated on the script.

“We’re just working on the script, really – my brother (Jonas Nolan) has been hard at work on it for quite some time,” the Mirror quoted Nolan as telling MTV News.

“It’s based on a story that myself and David Goyer have written.
“We know we’re aiming for 2012 (release date). That’s been talked about.“I’ve been very completely in this movie, Inception.“In a couple of weeks, I’ll surface and figure out what I’m doing next and how I’m going to approach it,” he added.
Well, we are eagerly waiting for it Chris. Make it fast!
