World’s No.1 DJ and Grammy winner, David Guetta is coming to India to perform for the Eristoff Invasion Festival 2012, wherein he will be touring Delhi on 9th March, Pune on 10th, and Bengaluru on 11th.
David Guetta , a household name among the youth worldwide, is best known for his energetic techno/electronic party numbers , which are a rage in all clubs across the globe . Since his 2001 debut, the French DJ has sold over five million albums worldwide. His most recent release, 2011′s Nothing But The Beat, features collaborations with some of the biggest names in pop music including Will.i.am, Usher, Lil Wayne and Akon. The album has been nominated for a Grammy for Best Dance/Electronica Album at the 54th Grammy Awards.
His hits like “WITHOUT YOU”, “TURN ME ON”, “WHEN LOVE TAKES OVER”, “GETTING OVER YOU” have been huge successes , capturing the imagination of millions of music lovers all across the world.
The Eristoff Invasion Festival, which is organized by the company “ Only Much Louder” in partnership with UKNY Music, a leading UK-based music and events company, is in its second year of production. The first edition of Eristoff Invasion, in January 2011, saw British brand The Prodigyheadline the festival, which traveled to Bangalore and New Delhi.
The flashy posters, and TV advertisements of the Festival are already grabbing eyeballs, and creating buzz in colleges. DU students are ready to take out a day from their “mid semester” break (from 3-12 March) , and let their hair down ,whereas many engineering students who have their exams coming up (DTU for instance) , are seriously considering taking one nights’ time out and going for the Performance.
Its going to be a dream come true for David Guetta fans and regular listeners (like me) .But even for first time listeners of David Guetta , its going to be no less than a great experience, a night to remember forever, as they listen and discover a whole new world of music.
The VIP Passes have already been sold out, and the regulars will be finished too in some time. The organizers have adopted a customer friendly policy by providing the sale of tickets at poplular youth hangouts ( like Café Turtle at Khan Mkt and Café Mocha at Defence colony) etc. The tickets can also be bought online via the Fetsival’s official website www.invasionfestival.in
After witnessing total chaos at the Metallica Concert in New Delhi which soon became a matter of national shame, Delhiites hope to have a well organized, smoothly executed event and an extremely entertaining and unforgettable performance by the Master DJ himself on 9Th March at the HUDA grounds, Gurgaon.
