Diana Penty : Meera of ‘Cocktail’

The pretty new face in the song Tumhi ho bandhu (COCKTAIL) is Diana Penty. Since the release of the song, she has become exceedingly popular. Now everyone knows her, or wants to know about her. Well, for all of you curious readers, here is a little gupshup about her!

Diana Penty is an Indian model and film actress. She is debuting in her first movie Cocktail with Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone as her co star. She is playing the character of Meera in this movie. Meera is a charming girl with daisy values, who comes to London from Delhi, for a fresh start. Though different from each other, these three are perfect friends staying under one roof until friendship becomes confusing, and love becomes complicated afterwards.

Biography of Diana:

Diana was born on 2^nd November, 1985 in Mumbai. Her mother is Christian and father Parsi. She had completed her Bachelor’s in mass media from St Xavier’s, Mumbai. Her parents have been extremely encouraging about her decisions. She signed with Elite Model Management in 2005 and is one of the faces of cosmetics company Maybelline New York. She has walked in numerous fashion weeks and has worked with Indian designers. Diana is often seen on the ramp, and has worked with top designers and appeared in a number of advertisements. Diana Penty is the face of Maybelline and Garnier, which are both internationally recognized brands. In the very short time that Diana has been in New York, she has already shot for Bluefly and Neiman Marcus and has been booked by other renowned brands such as Forever 21 and Nordstrom. This is a testimony to Diana’s international acclaim.

So much of adoration in just few years, she is moving really high. Her debut movie Cocktail is scheduled for release on 13^th July . The film is directed by Homi Adajania under Saif Ali khan’s banner Illuminati Films.
