E-Summit 2011
Delhi Technological University (formerly Delhi College of engineering)
(16th – 17th Feb 2011)

Throughout history, the term “entrepreneurship” has been synonymous with achievements. In olden times, it was the architect of a war, in medieval times it was the industrial revolution, modern times have brought the corporate entities, but throughout, it has been the innate desire of mankind to innovate and create more wealth, that has advanced our civilization from wooden houses with thatched roofs to high-rises which are giving the largest mountains on earth a run for their money! Hence it goes without saying that this spirit of “entrepreneurship” should be encouraged.

E-Summit 11 is an initiative of the Entrepreneurship Development Cell, DCE that aims to bring together the entrepreneurial passions of the country to converge on one platform. Through this event, E Cell wishes to provide the students from different parts of the country a chance to come up with their best ideas and plans and pit them against the best brains. It also seeks to promote innovation and creativity, the pillars of development and encourage entrepreneurship based on it, for “developing newer technologies” itself is a form of entrepreneurship!

Overview of the Events:

Each event in E-Summit 2011 will be focused at finding the hidden entrepreneurs among us and giving them the right platform and guidance to achieve their goals. The competitions bring out the best in the participants, the judges and the panelists point out the pros and cons of the ideas. Further, as everyone gets a chance to mingle with the best from all over the country, they get a lot of exposure and this helps develop in more than one dimension.
