Be it gaga or simply the Hindi version of gaga, the name aptly describes her effervescent personality. A synonym of bizarre and peculiar personality, she is a glaring example of out of the box thinking. The question been raised here is “are we gaga over lady gaga?” the answer is certainly yes! Being extremely outspoken about her bisexuality is something which makes her even more vulnerable to criticism but I would surely not utilize this section for her criticism, rather acknowledge her eccentric tantrums and behavior. Be it fame or notoriety, she has prospered to achieve a lot of accolades and cognizance. Although there has been a preposterous display of hideous clothes by Lady Gaga, be it the meat dress which managed to invoke the fury of PETA and other animal activists or the egg dress, she is capable of grabbing eyeballs and somehow manages to stay in the spotlight. Be it gaining “paparazzi” or simply being the “fame monster”, she has done it all! Although her insanity is conspicuous from the way she carries herself but certainly the appreciation and admiration goes for her attitude sans any inhibitions. Some may find her songs to be aggravating for the kids and perturbing for their parents and for those tranquil souls who listen to halcyon music only, but surely her songs prove her mettle as a singer. Her flamboyant behavior conquers hearts! Her stint of being a blonde even after being a natural brunette to avoid a constant comparison with Amy Winehouse was a proof of her audacity and unintimidated thinking. Whatever she does, she seems oblivious to all the perils coming her way in the form of flak. The talented singer has won many prestigious awards which show that she is an illustrious lady.
Her dressing sense and her boisterous ways are much talked about but what is seldom seen is her benevolent deeds and benign work she puts up for a number of causes. Her contributions towards Haiti relief and the introduction of the lipstick line for the promotion for the HIV aids awareness campaign was a step that stunned many. She even designed bracelets to lend a helping hand towards Japan earthquake.
Times magazine has a credible reason of including her in the list of 100 most influential people of the world! Indeed, she influences millions!
