Students are left with no choice than to be low-spirited with the Science cut-offs rising every year. Physics and electronics students can express joy as the cut off is constant for them but Physical Science, life Science, zoology, botany and Computer science student may face tough competition this year. Almost all the courses have taken an average rise of 1%-1.5% for each category.
Computer science honours had 95% cut-off last year for science stream and 98% for others which have been raised to 97% and 99% this year respectively.
B.Sc. (H) Zoology course rises it’s cut-off by 3% from 87% to 90%this year.
B.Sc. (H) Mathematics course rises it’s cut-off by 1.5% from 95% to 96.5%this year.
Similarly B.Com (H) course has taken an elevation from 95.75 to 96.25% this year. Moreover there is not a vast difference in Economics cut-off as they have been raised by 0.25% only for both Science and Humanities and Commerce Stream.
Most talked about course English Honours have seen a rise of 2% in all commerce, Humanities and Science stream. Science stream cut-off has been increased to 94.5% with last year to be 92%.
Overall It’s a high on unhappy drama as the student will find all the cut-offs of Hansraj college raised to an average of 1%-3% this year.
