You said goodbye & I didn’t
Coz you moved on but I couldn’t!!!

My eyes set on fire with tears ablaze
Life seems to be an endless maze!!!

What, oh what did I ever do
to wake up at night screaming ‘NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!’

Oh, the humanity…oh, the pain!
From this exchange, who stood to gain???

Every day I ask myself
‘Am i just a book on your shelf???’

Why, I ask, couldn’t you have said ‘yes’?
Both of our lives could have avoided this mess!!!
