Kashmir:Paradise on earth!

Kashmir, a place which redefines the word beauty . It’s flowers, it’s mountains, it’s people, all are beautiful. Before visiting there I always wondered about the beauty of such a place and why people go gaga over Kashmir?! It was a different world altogether, something that will leave a deep impact in your heart, mind and soul!

From houseboats to the apples…

From people to the army…

From Dal Lake to Gulmarg…

Everything seem to be perfectly made by God ! The pictures you see are self explanatory of the beauty of this place

It fascinates you to leave the world beside and find your true identity. The first question that arises is ‘What is the difference between those regular hill stations and Kashmir?’.Kashmir unlike other hill stations does not leave you wondering for more and more, Instead it delivers and how!! After visiting Kashmir only you will understand why two countries are fighting for it !!

We all have heard and read much about the natural beauty of that place but there are many unsaid and unheard things, like people in Kashmir do not exactly hate army, they know that army is necessary for their safety and for state’s safety and people there also do not exactly love army, they know that sometimes army interferes way too much !
Here are some must do things if you are going to that part of the country…

Do have a visit to the apple gardens in the state…sit there and spend some time there as the sweet and refreshing air will surely give you an unmatched feeling.
Kashmiri kawah is a must there…without that (or liquor) you are unable to survive in there….I would prefer the former any time…
Have a look around you….what you will notice is that you are missing so much in life….there are so many beautiful things in life that we are missing…Kashmir gives you the exact idea of that…and I am not just talking about the natural beauty but also the absolute beauty of the people residing in there and by that I meant internal and external beauty
Step outside your hotel and talk to people about the place and the history attached with it…please don’t start India vs. Pakistan talks there !
Just sit back and enjoy the nature, leaving aside all your worries and fear!

And as we know it is one of the most sensitive places in the country, so you better be aware of some ‘not to do’s’ also…

Your guide is there to help you explore the natural beauty of his state and not the political matters…so concentrate on that only…don’t start with the topic ‘Kashmir and the terrorists’ as there is government who is looking into all that…so please mind your own business.
Please do all your travel and shopping in the day time as there is no nightlife in the city and also the temperature also takes a freefall in the night.

So have these points cleared in your mind and enjoy the paradise on earth….
