Somewhere in India there lived a boy by the name of Satyajit. He was studying in the 6thstandard and was staying with his aunt as his parents were posted in Australia. Summer vacation was drawing near and Satyajit was very happy, reason being he was going to meet his parents soon.
At last, the day came when he was to board the flight from India to Australia. The journey time was around 7 hrs and the plane was to fly over the Indian Ocean.
Everything was going on well until the pilot in the midway announced that there was turbulence, because of bad weather & lightning. He asked the passengers not to worry and to tighten their seat belts. But the turbulence continued and was turning from bad to worse. Suddenly Satyajit saw one of the wings had caught fire. Other passengers also saw the fire and began to panic. Some were crying and some were offering prayers to their respective God’s. There was chaos altogether. The plane started to lose its control and was coming down into the ocean. Death was imminent. The pilot announced that he was trying his level best to regain control and apologized to the passengers because their life were at stake because of him. Satyajit closed his eyes. He started praying to God and wondered what wrong he had done in his tender age that God was punishing him in this way.
Suddenly there was a big bang and the plane fell into the ocean.
Satyajit became unconscious and remained in that state for a pretty long time after which he opened his eyes and found himself lying in a beautiful place he had never seen ever in his life. The land was not of sand and soil but was of emeralds, diamonds and other precious stones. There were beautiful trees and plants, all were made of gold and silver. In one of the trees Satyajit found oranges and wanted to eat it as he was hungry. However he wished that the tree had mangoes instead of oranges. What a wonder! Immediately all the oranges vanished and mangoes came in its place. He realized that it was a desire tree. He climbed the tree and plucked 3-4 mangoes and ate all of them which were very sweet and tasty. After having food Satyajit desired to have water as he was thirsty.
He found a beautiful lake and quenched his thirst. Thereafter he wanted to take bath in the lake. He started to go into the water near the bank. But what a wonder! He could in-fact stand on the surface of the water and not get drowned. He thereafter started skating here and there with his bare feet and enjoyed it thoroughly. Thereafter he came back from the lake and laid down on the land as he was exhausted. After a small nap, he got up. He felt that some pointed stone was hurting his right leg. He lifted his right leg a little upwards and what a wonder! He was in-fact flying vertically and the moment he brought the right leg to its original place, he would stop flying and in-fact land. And while flying, when he raised his right hand the speed increased and when he lowered it the speed decreased. He raised his right hand further and further and the speed increased manifold and was more than the speed of the quickest-rocket on earth. Soon he found himself flying in space. He had in-fact become a human rocket. He could see hundreds of beautiful & colored planets all around him and when he looked to his right he saw a planet which resembled like that of earth that he had seen in his geography books. He realized that he had left the mortal earth long time back and had come to a higher planet, where he had become immortal and where life was thousand times more pleasing, disease free, peaceful and enjoyable than earth and he thanked God for the same!!!
