As customary, it all starts with the constant beckoning among friends.

Alone in the cosy darkness of his room, a boy is conversing on a social networking site.

9:50

U r a damn money whore man!

Jiske paas paisa dekha.. tu uske side pe uhchal parta hai..

(You pounce towards anyone with money)

you live for two things – fuck n cash

9:50

Tu jee kis baat ka raha hai? Pyaar aur paisa dono tera pass

(What are you living for? Love and money are both most certain eventualities)

30-40 ke umar tak ah jayege.. aur agar chahe toh abhi bhi ah sakte hai..

(Which you’ll have by the time your 30 or 40.. and if you want, you can have them all right now)

bas yeh achahi ka natak chornah parega!

(You’ll just have to disregard this charade of so called “goodness”)

Aur sab ah bhi gaya toh phir kya? Tab bhi aahdhi se yaada zindagi bachegi teri!

(And even if you get what you want,.. then what? You’ll still have more than half your life to waste around)

9:51

tu bimaar hai bhai

(You’re sick brother)

ilaaj kara apna

(Get yourself fixed)

bhai mating is human nature

it’s inborn

and about money

we all need money

9:51

no you don’t..

paise se zindagi chalti hai.. banti nahi..

(Life runs on money, not build it)

9:53

Toh kya karu mai phir?

(What should I do then?)

motive kya hona chahiye?

(What should be my motive then?)

9:54

teri life..tujhe pata hoona chahhiya..kuch life ke principles nahi hai kya tera?

(It’s your life, you should know! Don’t you have any life principles?)

9:54

principles ka kya karu main

(What should I do of these principles?)

9:54

gand me ghusarega! sala life jeeyehga apne liya unse..not for money or for fuck

(You’ll shove them up your ass! You’ll live your life for yourself jackass)

9:55

kisi aur ke zindagi jee raha hai tu

(You’re living someone else’s life)

yeh sari duniya kisi na kisi insaan ke sooch se bani hui hai..

(This entire world is based on the philosophy of some human being or the other)

how he or she wanted their life to be ..

their surroundings to look like ..

what they wanted to believe.. and others as well..

the definition of an idea..

the meaning and understanding of ideas..

the implication of ideas..

paisa, bhagwan aur pyaar.. yeh sab kisi aur ka soocha hua hai..

(Money, God and Love.. All are human constructs)

tune kya soocha hai!? Teri kya samaj hai duniya ke!!

(What did you create? What is your understanding of this world?)

Aise he kisi ka sapne me jheeta rahega tu! ?

(Will you continue living complacently in this foreign dream!?)

9:56

pagal hai bhai tu

(you’re mad brother)

bhai terase bhais nahi kar sakte

(There Is no arguing with you)

tujhe kuch samjhna hi nahi

(You have no understanding)

bas oppose karna hai

(You just live to oppose)

we all fuck

i just wanna do that in style

9:56

I oppose because that’s my aim in life – to believing in nothing, and fight for everything..

Mai khud ke duniya me jeena chata hu.. where I get to decide what is meant by life and living!

(I oppose because that’s my aim in life – to believing in nothing, and fight for everything..

I wish to live in a world of my own.. where I get to decide what is meant by life and living!)

Aur meri samaj ke hesaab se yeh duniya logo ke sooch ke hai.. meri nahi..

(And according to my understanding, this world is a product of an unknown mind, different from my own)

I want to define my own existence..

this isn’t your life..

your living someone else’s..

9: 57

abe soja tu..

(just go to sleep man)

9:57

get a life.. and I’ll sleep..

******

A tired puff of relentless air, a revolting hand on the spreads and a failure lathered headbutt. All the signals of discontent the protagonist entails during an effort to gain some much eluded sleep and a thoughtless tranquil being. He eyes blindingly towards his cell to catch a sneaky glimpse of the time flying by as if never having envisioned such a mass source of radiance, almost like the tales of knowledge that once the philosopher and teacher Socrates foretold. 12:45am – is the stamp of time read by this forsaken soul, as if out of the sandman’s delight. It has now been nearly 3 hours since the battle for appeasement from a fulfilled rest began….

  3. I can agree with that. I don’t think I have ever read anyone else’s work that is so obsessed with a flowing poetic feel for his or her writting as me (which has its disadvantages, but distinctions as well). I know it doesn’t make much sense right now, but try reading the entire thing. Any criticism after will be most welcomed, as this is my 1st try writing fiction. I think a main reason why people found it boring was because I went realistic than fiction with the story, it’s not as extravagant as the popular ones. What would you like more clear? Give an example. Thanks.
