To Love I Belong

Head leaned against the window,
The blinding city lights,
In my ears, the music..
Of headphones, the twisting wires,
Reaching up through to my pocket,
To the mobile that waits upon her call.
A different junction, a different place,
Millions of people, a second, a new face.
All strange, all the same.
And I wait for the junction where we meet,
And bathe in the rain. Like mad children.
To forget the sun will ever shine.
Too long my love, I have traveled so far,
With these strangers all the same,
For a story of love, a touch of your hands,
A silly morning, a glint of your strands.
A night of surrender, the love in you name,
Of golden skin, kissed softly in the rain..
Oh come oh love and hold me today,
Set fire to me in your arms,
As here i lie in all stillness,
To wait upon you, apparently insane.
