Two and a Half Men without Charlie Sheen!

Two and a half men will enter the ninth season, but with no Charlie Sheen. Sheen was fired from the show on 7th March 2011 following his drug addiction and inappropriate comments on the creator of the show.

Two and a half men one of the most successful and popular comedy sitcom was started in 2003. The show revolves around life of Charlie Harper (Charlie Sheen) and his brother Alan Harper and his brother’s son Jake. The sitcom thrived for 8 seasons on shoulders of Sheen, who provided unmatched acting and comic instinct. Sheen is shown as a sex addict in the show. The problems in the show started in 8th season, when Sheen started showing dissent to continue in the season. Sheen, who is most highly paid TV actor, received $1.8 million per episode for season 8. Following his departure from show, Ashton Kutcher was roped into the show for an unknown role. Kutcher acknowledged the fact, that he cannot really replace Sheen but will do the best to entertain audience.

The ninth season will be aired on CBS on 19th September 2011. The latest season will shift the focus on life of Alan Harper.

As for Charlie Sheen, he announced a nationwide tour after he was fired. He is currently considering a role offered to him in a sitcom which adaptation of film Anger Management(2003).
