Or else, there may come a time when our cricket team for the 2050thyear will consist of Engineers and Doctors that are Alumnus from IITs and AIIMS.

1) For Every Science Courses:
NET Exam: National Eligibility Test, which is conducted by UGC-CSIR twice in a year, is an immediate path to become a Lecturer in any Govt. recognised institutes after pursuing M.Sc. in related field. The eligibility for NET exam has been lowered from this year to Graduates only from Honours Courses.
Defence:Various Defence exams like AFCAT and CDS never longed an Engineer or a Doctor. As an alternative, they pay a hefty salary that hardly any private institute would offer after 4-5 years of exhaustive iron Scrubbing.
UPSC EXAMS: There are numerous exams from UPSC in which Graduates from Non-professional courses are eligible. So again they don’t want Engineers and Doctors to run their country. Uncle, are you reading, huh?
2) For B.Sc. PHYSICS Students

Being a Mathematics Honours’ student, I can tell you the genuine Pros and Cons of doing Maths (H). If you have zeal of learning the real concepts of sequence and series, power series or set theory, go for it. If you have an inner voice that you can learn hundreds of proof of theorems that were discovered by great some mathematicians in their jawani time, go for it. Nonetheless, if you want to enjoy mathematics at core, go for it.

Exactly. It’s such a shame to watch people go for engineering over and over again only because either their parents think so, or because some brother or sister did it before.
I chose it, because I had an interest in it. Now I see how worthless it is. I hadn’t bargained for mugging up books, I wanted to invent stuff. Alas. It’s really difficult to change the mentality of the kids these days though.
PS: I am thinking about a career in Hollywood. Never late to give up on dreams, I have been told
