‘Once Upon A Time’ There Was A Fairytale

Once Upon a Time is an American television series based on the genre of Fantasy, drama, action, comedy, mystery and much more. It was created by Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz. Its executive producers are Edward Kitsis, Adam Horowitz, Jane Espenson and Steve Pearlman.

The producers of the show are Kathy Gilroy, Damon Lindelof and Brian Wankum. The editors were Julie Monroe and Henk Van Eeghen, ACE. Most of the series was filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia. The show premiered on ABC for the first time on October 23, 2011 and is running at present on ABC. The show has come up with first season and its 22 episodes have been aired till date.

The main characters in the series are Ginnifer Goodwin as Snow White, Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan, Lana Parrilla as The Evil Queen, Josh Dallas as Prince Charming, Eion Bailey as Pinocchio, Jared S. Gilmore as Henry Mills, Raphael Sbarge as Jiminy Cricket, Jamie Dornan as The huntsman and Robert Carlyle as Rumpelstiltskin or Mr. Gold. These are the major characters that play an important part in the story. Others play irregular roles in the story.

The entire story revolves around a girl named Emma Swan. She is alone and don’t have anyone to look after. She is a bail bonds collector. She has always looked after herself as she didn’t have anyone to take care of her. She was left alone when she was a kid. Her smooth life suddenly takes a critical turn when a 10 year old boy named Henry, whom she lost many years ago, finds her. He asks her for help as he finds that only Emma can help him.

Henry has a strong belief that Emma is from another world and she is the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming. By going through the storybook of fairytales, Emma has to save herself and Henry from Evil Queen’s curse, which she gave when Snow White and Prince Charming was getting married. Emma is confused and she takes Henry back to Story Brooke. The series received a good response from the audiences as well as critics. They all gave it positive reviews and the first episode of the serial managed high rankings.
