Papa’s b’day gift to Kasab

The trauma of Kalka Mail accident and counting of the victims wasn’t over as yet , when suddenly a lurch was provided by the terrorists, yet again. Mumbai, a dream city for many, has now become a hot spot for terrorist activities. It seems as if India is becoming an unsafe country and terrorist attacks in India are like the ‘Monsoons’ with the only difference being the frequency of arrival. Last wednesday, ‘Black Wednesday‘ was a birthday gift to Kasab from their PAPA’S (dont forget, Kasab has been our national guest since the last 3 years).

Who is to be blamed ?? Is it the politicians or the government ?? Is it the opposition party, trying to have the chair ?? Is it the ISI, or any other terrorist group ? Or is it just basic government tactics to remove the attention of people from inflation and corruptions, 2G, black money etc.

Now where is Anna Hazare and his colleague, yoga teacher Baba Ramdev? They all fight for corruption…lokpal bill and blah blah blah…but no one takes charge of the national security or tries to curb terrorism. Actually we are very good at forgetting things, and everyone, whether it be the terrorists or the politicians know it very well. They know that people will forget this attack, like all the other attacks of the past and it’s true, because only the wearer knows where the shoe pinches. So, its better to ask those people who have lost their family members. Will they ever be able to forget these attacks ??

It’s really a failure of the Intelligence Agencies, they are lacking somewhere. And what can you say about the politicians? They only know how to divide people for vote bank politics. Our Government can only defend terrorists like Kasab as the total expenses on Ajmal Kasab till date are around 26.5 crores, he was also provided with a nutritious diet, tight security & all the other facilities, now is this called PUNISHMENT or NOURISHMENT ?? Government very well knows how to lathi charge on innocent ladies and children but they do not know how to curb terrorism.

However, we can’t entirely blame the government. Yes, our administration system is weak , but , awareness amongst people is the most important thing. Secondly, our security system sucks too and that’s where  the government’s role becomes important. If we notice, since 9/11 , U.S has been pro-active in security issues . There have been no terrorist activities in the US after 9/11.Then, why is India a soft target ??A stronger intelligence and defence system is needed. Here, corruption makes our intelligence weaker and it is lacking in funds. So , to stop all this , each and every citizen should do his/her bit. By paying taxes and spreading awareness.

We need people like Naseeruddin Shah of’ A Wednesday’ movie. We have all the capabilities to fight out such menaces but India lacks will power. If America and Israel can curb this, then why cant we? We can’t see our people dying like this. Its time we must react strongly and strike at the very root otherwise just sitting idle is simply not going to make any difference.

Let’s unite and fight against terrorism to make India a safe country.
