The next bet from Nokia’s CEO Stephen Elop to revive his company is Nokia’s latest flagship flagship phone “Nokia Lumia 800″. Built in just 6 months, it seems nokia took the design of its N8 handset and mixed it with Windows Phone Mango. So what is the feel, pros and cons of this new handset? Read on to get answered.
Talking about the outer looks, the left side of handset is as blank as we get during exams.
Feeling the right side with fingers although gives some respite. All the buttons are clustered on right side. We have firstly the volume buttons, then we have the power/lock button and a dedicated camera button. All the buttons are made of real metal which adds to its quality.
On the top we have 3.5 mm headphone jack and the slot for Mirco-USB and Sim card. Only when you have the micro-USB flap opened, you can pop the micro Sim slot out.. On the bottom side of the phone we have the Speaker CUM Mike.
On the front screen side, we can see a discrete airpiece and at the botton part of the screen we have the back button, the home button and the search button
After knowing what this handset has, lets now go to what it doesn’t have.
So Firstly, it doesn’t have a notification LED nor does it have a front camera. Absence of both will be pinching..!!!
The phone has sharp corners. At this place the handset’s HTC rival-The titan takes a lead as it has rounded corners and a bigger screen.
Coming to the CAMERA, the camera on the back side of Lumia 800 is the same as was available on N9. It is a 8 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss Tessar lens opens to f/2.2 which makes it good for low light performance.
The official video realeased by nokia says the tagline “All your friends are here” … This is because it has all-in-one live scream for Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. It has free voice guided car navigation and also fast browsing with Internet Explorer 9 mobile.
In all, this phone with all it’s features, pros and cons is a must look-around handset.. But the question which still pops up in my head is that will people prefer Lumia 800 to phones like Titan or any other android phones..!!!!

Nokia sucks, their CEO is a microsoft supporter, instead of supporting their linux based os they sided with the devil and discontinued meego.
