Precap – Madhu Life taught me one thing paisa hai to sab kuch hai …..” “But your interviews say something else.” “That’s because I never let people know of my struggle. Now will you show me your face, we might never meet again?” “Kya fayda?”
Continued….
“Please” his hand went up to her dupatta and he dropped it.
“Now I know why you cover your face always you are too pretty…..” “I need to go…” “Please stay back.” “What exactly is your problem? You are a star and you are here in this desert talking to me for hours?”
Madhu was dreading her vulnerability. She knew the thakur men for whom she cried lusted on her. They had often asked her to quote her price. She always yearned for her man but held back her feelings knowing her dark fate. Amaan was a man she adored. And his proximity was doing no good to her. “Ruk jao na please…” he said lying on the sand. “What do you want Amaan?” “It sounds good when you take my name I want you…” “Aa gaye line pe tum sab mard ek jaise hote ho….” “No Madhu you are not getting me right I want you in my life….” “Nautanki.…” she got up this time determined she would leave but no she felt him hold her hand “You are pretty shameless.” “Mat jao” He pulled her and she fell on him.
She could feel her heart beating fast. “I can hear your heart beat Madhu…” “I will not sleep with you…” “When did I say I want to sleep with you? I said I want you mere saath chalo I will never let you feel lonely…” he started kissing her face. She didn’t fight him her inner desires took over her sanity. Finding her response he moved to her lips and took the soft petals. He found her to be earthy and honest in her response. When he broke the kiss she whispered “toofan ayega aj.…” “Toofan to aa chuka Madhu. Now if I go back I will not able to concentrate on my work. I will worry about that woman I met in Rajpura. I won’t deny this I have lost my heart to you…”
She caressed his cheek and said “kitno ko kaha hai ye?” “Lot in my films none in reality. I want to marry you, you make me feel like my teens. You make me feel my pain my struggle you make me feel natural. Shadi karogi mujhse?” She didn’t say anything but looked into his eyes. He was lost in her aura and both didn’t realise the storm had risen. “Amaan the storm has risen, please leave.” “I don’t know the way Madhu.” The sand was now blowing heavily. Madhu realised it was the end of them. She looked into his eyes and said “I had told you stay away from me, you will die now.” He smiled and said “make me feel special once before I die…”
She so wanted his warmth, the man of her dreams was so near. She kissed him full on the mouth and the sands continued to cover them. His hands moved to her twins and fondled them and she continued to stroke his spine. The sand continued to cover them with a ferocious noise but they were in their erotic world. Out of breath they broke and the storm also stopped. Amaan smiled “the storm has passed but you lost Madhu you lost your heart to me…” She now felt her cheeks heating in embarrassment. She thought she would die and wanted to be fulfilled by the man she desired but now she was unable to face him. “You can deny that you like me Madhu. Shadi karlo mujhse see even Mother Nature wants it…” “Mein…” she tried to say something but he sealed her mouth…. “Tumme itna dard hai that in spite of crying so much in other people’s mourning’s your eyes are dry like the desert Madhu. Nature has taken from me, nature has taken from you and nature is giving us a chance.” He held her hand and escorted her to his hotel.
She never said she wanted to marry him, she never said she loved him. He didn’t ask her again. They went to Mumbai and he didn’t ask what type of a wedding she wanted. They kept it low , only the world knew Amaan was taken. She never used his contacts to become a singer and he kept her all for himself. But the world got signs of their love when one year later their babies Mahi and Om were born. Madhu finally knew what tears were real tears. She hid her face in his chest and cried for the first time when she found she was pregnant. She still hasn’t told him she loves him but she is everywhere in him from his morning chai to his garam pani to his diet breakfast his clothes his juice his workout his phone his credit cards. They still wear their masks and pretensions and he has begun to realize why she had called him a Rudaali.
