Now Juhi hated Soham for a funny reason. She was in no mood to marry him because she loved someone else. But in India when parents decide it’s your wedding you have little choice. To her dismay her wedding day had come. She was all messed up with all the rituals. She wondered when a signature would finish the wedding why the pomp and grandeur.

She was looking like a little princess in her bridal attire. Soham skipped a beat, “she is not cute she is beautiful! I am already falling for this kid. Soham concentrate you can’t get lost in her charms you have the West Indies tour coming up!” When her hand brushed against his in one of the rituals she quickly moved it away. He thought she was shy, little did he know a small tornado awaited him.

Juhi could see her comfort zone slipping away. Not that she was sad about leaving her parents she felt trapped with this wedding. Her parents were now her biggest enemy as they married her off to the man she hated the most. She hated him all the more for his stupid plan of leaving her back in Dhuj. “Idiot he can get married but he can’t give me the ticket to my happiness. God next match please make him lose! No no sorry I don’t want India to lose; I hope God gives him a shoulder injury or stomach flu!” Soham had no idea that his bride was cursing him and he assumed she was forlorn because of her bidaai.

Soham had no plans of reception in Dhuj. He needed to get back to Mumbai. He didn’t socialize much he only knew cricketers and his entire team was busy in INL. Soham had already decided to take his wife along with him. He knew his family would be shocked but Soham Babu’s heart was fluttering. He was only worried about the press; worried how he would handle them back in Mumbai. And he worried about the models and actors who would send him smses that he broke their heart. He knew he lost lot of female fans but why would he care when he got this beauty.

Soham arrived with his bride. How he hated these rituals, “Bua if you are done with arti I want to rest and Juhi must be tired too.” Soham’s Mom frowned and his friends though not many, teased him. Juhi flinched as she remembered all the gyan her friends had given her.

When he entered the room she was sitting in the corner of the bed and her veil was lying on the floor. She had a sad look. Soham softly lifted her chin and made her meet his gaze. “Why are you getting so tensed? I promise I’ll behave myself Juhi look at me once!” he pleaded She was still so quiet. He kissed her cheek and said, “kuch to bolo please I am dying to hear your voice.”

And she said, “I hate you I love somebody else! I hate you!” “Wwhhhat? You hate me? Then why did you marry me? You love somebody else? Who? You have a boyfriend?”

“Wo mere boy friend nehi mere sab kuch hai.” He gulped, “sab kuch ? kaun hai Juhi bolo if necessary I’ll help you out of this marriage. See there is still time nothing will change you just tell me what is the issue and I will help you. This was the reason…” he said frustrated “…I wanted to talk to you before our wedding but Bua didn’t allow me!”

“Ap kya help karoge? You are responsible for all his sorrows!” “Me?” “Yes you you Soham Desai I hate you I hate you apki wajah se mere Ratul ki captaincy chhooti.”
“Kya Ratul you mean Ratul Bhai? Where does he come in?”
“I love him I love Ratul!” Soham almost fell off the bed laughing, “you God you…Is this a joke Babes? You scared me”

She gave him a dagger glance. “I am not supposed to marry you I am supposed to marry Ratul I love him and only him. Don’t laugh!” she hit him. “Okay okay chill Barbie…” “I am Juhi not Barbie.” “I know but you look so cute so I named you Barbie” “Shut up” “I know dear you hate me but ab kya kare you are my wife na? Ratul Bhai is already married he is the father of two kids.” Soham never knew his wedding night will be so funny. She was in tears, “he could have waited for me!” He gulped a laugh, “hmm I know but he is twenty years older than you.” “So what you are twelve years older than me.” Soham was now finding it difficult to control his laughter. “Achhha dekho Ratul Bhai loves me a lot so now if you leave me he’ll start hating you” “To ab main kya karu?” Juhi started crying and he took her in his arms, “shhh suno I have a plan. Dekho you are getting one cricketer for free na? Mein poora to mil raha hu so next time when we go for West Indies tour I’ll take you along you’ll meet Ratul Bhai.” “sach?”, she smiled through her tears. “Captain’s promise.” “Apko captain kisne banaya? sab buddhu hai apko captaincy nehi aati!” “Hmm I know par Barbie tum Ratul Bhai se shadi to nehi kar paogi.”
“Why was I not born fifteen years earlier?” She sulked again and said, “can you arrange a date at least?” Soham chuckled, “wow Soham this kiddo wife is asking for a date that too with your mentor.”
