Suffocation in dream city ( Part-1 )

I am missing my home badly. And why I shouldn’t?? I have lived 18 years in that home with my loving mom and dad.
Leaving behind everything all at once is difficult not only for me but for anyone. The love and attachment one has with his/her family is never easy to over-come, especially if one is mama’s boy like Rohit.

It’s been more than 2 months that Rohit had left home and came here in an eccentric city, the capital of India, Delhi. Delhi is his dream city, even though he had never visited it.

Almost all rural people fantasize to flock into metropolis, then how Rohit can stay behind in building castles in the air. Rohit belongs to a village, Raghjarh in Rajasthan. Of the entire metropolis, the people of Raghjarh are insane about Delhi. It resides in their heart. And that’s why one can even have a hunch why Delhi was Rohit’s dream kingdom.

He has not been able to adjust, not even a single friend he has gained. The people here are far different from what he has faced till now, finding himself lost among the selfish, double-faced, money-minded and stubborn people, cursing himself every-day, crying every night for the decision he took. The decision to take admission in an engineering college of Delhi. The sequel of troubles started to create suffocation for him. His dream city started creating situation of danger, discomfort, psychological or physical terror, anxiety and great sadness turning his dream city to a nightmare.

The only thing that enthrall, make him forget his pain, alleviate him were the giant structures, malls, buildings of Delhi, burning him with the feeling, that he has to do something in his life, he has to earn money and reach to zenith.
