If I had the words
I’d break the painful silence,
Bring back our aeonian talks,
The laughs,the kisses,the long walks.
If I had the words
I’d wreathe each memory into the poem of my heart.
And tell you how there’s always a tint of acidity in every redolence,
The Daisies that lay withered between the pages of my book, plumed their fragrance.
If I had the words
I’d tell you about all the nights that I was going to write to you but abstained,
And let you know how much it pains me to see you changed.
But sadly I don’t have the words.
So I let my eyes speak,
For all the promises you didn’t keep.
But even if I had the words
They wouldn’t be enough for me to narrate,
The solitude,the agony,I’d never be able to explicate.
If I had the words
I’d write the story of you and me,
Because words are my only means,
To go back to our world of splendiferous greens.
If I had the words
I’d reminisce and narrate my tale of lost love.
For I still remember what you forgot,
For I still go to the places where we went a lot.
If I had the words
I would have changed the end.
But all I can do now is dwell,
On the misery of our loss,
The beautiful garden of our love that once was,
Now uprises only dead moss.
If I had the words
There are a thousand things I’d tell you,
And rhapsodize the tale that you no longer remember.
Of the snug mornings under the warm sun of december.
If I had the words
You’d probably still be mine.
But what if I find them and you still wont believe them to be true,
And then that’d be my life’s one interminable rue.
If I had the words
To rede our fable,I’d write it for the world to see.
The words,that are no longer enough to be bring you back to me.
But words,they’re what that I started with,
Words,let them be what I end this love with.

And Note for everyone who reads this poem : This is is not a blues poem,that I wrote after immersing myself in pain.Words like feelings just flow
Its alright to sit with a cup of coffee somedays and remisce,but on others its imperative to go out,and make even more resplendent memories!
