It’s been a year since…..

As I entered college again, after boring summer break I stood and remembered… a year before a innocent-type and unknowing boy stood in front of mechanical dept to find his class… a year has passed and the unknowing boy isn’t innocent now…!

My first year at college was just like a new life to me… which can never be forgotten. I made my mistakes and then… forgot them!! I went through lot of situations… well most of them were handled by my friends… my new friends… Ah after seeing them I used to think “abhi acche din bache hai zindagi me”!

All the tricks and things we did which required lot of guts…. clicking teacher’s photos while he’s teaching, making videos inside classrooms, updating fb status with one hand and writing notes with other, completing file outside lab… all of us sitting in a row, making weird noises with mobile, playing with chair in lab, screwing up instruments, locking up classroom a day before India Pakistan match, making record of 6 proxies by single student, our hotspot- photocopy shop, making regular bunks and playing cricket, fests, circulation of one reading for whole class’ file, knowing syllabus 2 hours before exam, completing whole syllabus in metro, after exam “wo saamne wali ladki ne saara concentration bigaad diya”, sitting in library only to enjoy AC and Wi-Fi, sitting in OAT enjoying a free life…..

Now I’m there, with new branch missing my friends badly who themselves are not much enjoying their schedule!!

First year is a totally different experience which cannot be explained… and I miss it badly!

To all juniors- enjoy it…. this time won’t come back!

  1. things only get better, the more important part of college is the friends you make their, as more time you spend with people, the more it cements and the better things around get, its only when you are out of college and everyone leaves, you realize how much they mean.
