Bollywood movies this weekend – 3G , Jolly LLB

Saheb Biwi aur Gangster Returns did very well at the box office and the audience was happy with the movie overall. This weekend we will have two big movies to look forward to. Both have good star cast and interesting storyline. Here is a quick preview of the two.

Bollywood 3G Jolly LLB

Cast: Neil Nitin Mukesh, Sonal Chauhan
Genre: Horror thriller
Directed by: Shantanu Ray Chibber and Sheershak Anand

3G Story line / Synopsis

Sam Arora and Sheena buy a 3G enabled second hand mobile phone in Fiji Islands while on a holiday trip. One night they receive a phantom call and mysteriously horrible things start happening to them after that. The nightmare has been brought upon by the phone they believe and the only way out is to unravel the mystery behind it.
The story outlines that with the billions of mobile phones around the world, a large percentage receive calls of unknown origins, phantom calls. These might be spirits trying to connect to our world.

Expectations: Neil Nitin Mukesh has proved himself worthy of mild action thrillers and given the right script he may give an astounding performance. The story sounds interesting. We have already seen movies like One Missed Call from Hollywood and 13B in Bollywood that take upon a similar plot line. But things can be more interesting in 3G movie. At least it will be better than cliche ghosts coming out of graves.
Release date: March 15, 2013.

3G – Official Theatrical Trailer

Jolly LLB

Cast: Arshad Warsi, Boman Irani, Amrita Rao
Genre: Comedy, satire
Directed by: Subhash Kapoor

Jolly LLB Story line / Synopsis

Meerut based Advocate Jagdish Tyagi aka Jolly wants to become a famous and rich lawyer. He comes to Delhi in search of a bigshot case and ends up against his idol Advocate Rajpal. This underdog player in the law field then takes it upon himself to win the case.

Expectations: The movie is definitely not going to be a mainstream slapstick comedy. It is clear that it is more of a social satire. With the two men Boman Irani and Arshad Warsi, we can expect big things from this movie.
